There's a rather mysterious subtext to the game that piques my curiousity.If you like the screenshots, go ahead and pick it up, especially if on sale.. The game is not bad, it's pretty much a "meh" puzzle adventure.The puzzles weren't blatantly easy, which is always a plus, but the biggest challenge didn't seem to come from figuring the puzzles out, but in the mechanics to interact with the puzzles. If a puzzle took me a bit to get it was because the mouse controls didn't respond properly.The biggest negative to the game, however, is that there is no ending. When you finish the last puzzle you are just sent to the main menu screen with a "Thanks for playing" message. I know these kinds of games are short, but there should at least be a small payoff for beating the game.. I loved Escape from 26, so when I found out that a sequel had been made, I jumped at the chance! This game is great for puzzle-solvers, and had a beautiful steampunk design. Easily one of my favorite games! Although I would have liked a bit more story\/connection to the story from Escape from 26.... Dreamcage Escape has a lot of interesting puzzles that are solvable without a walkthrough. Some are easy and others take some time. The story is captivating and after reading one of previous comments that this game is a continuation of a previous game called Escape from 26 (the story became clearer after playing the first game). The game is short but worth playing (I got this game during the Holiday Steam Sale). Took me about 2 to 3 hours to complete. One disadvantage is when I have found 2 coins and I am missing one in a previous location, I have to play the scene all over again to collect all three coins. The coins don't do anything.. Beautiful graphics, minimal story line, lots of different settings and orignal puzzles. Great escape game!. I enjoyed this game, which is basically an 'escape the room' type. The graphics are good on the eye, there is just enough plot there to motivate you and to hang the scenarios on without boring you half to death with unecessary story.Most of the puzzles were detecable and solvable without having to resort to the video walkthrough which makes a pleasant change. Many puzzle game designers seem to get carried away. Perhaps because they understand the mechanisms they have designed inside out.
